Do you ever have one of those days?

Ok. I know that I am not the only one that has one of “those days”. You know what I am talking about.  Everyone’s time zone is different than yours and nothing is going on time. Instead of getting angry which is easy to do, take a deep breath.  We are all getting so so busy that we go 28 hours in a normal 24 and wonder why we feel tired, burned out, short tempered and oh did I mention cranky.  We run and forget to breathe, yes breathe. I know, you are saying but I do breathe. If I didn’t I would not be functioning. The breating I am talking about is the deep breath type that the Dr makes you do. The one that you fill your lungs and slowly exhale.  If you do that, you will relax whether you wnat to or not.

Another way of getting a little breathing room is to have someone help with running the errands. If you could have someone pick up the laundry, or drop it off (it just seems harder to get it picked up), go to the grocery or even find a couple of bids for that repair job at home wouldn’t that be wonderful?  Do you know that having things like that done cost less than the cost of dinner and a cocktail?  Isn’t that worth the price of admission?  I know that it helps as I have had to hire myself several times just to be able to breathe and as we know breathing is a good thing.

Summertime

If you’re like me, you can’t believe that 4th of July is actually next weekend. No wonder all the firecracker tents have sprouted. July 4th is historically the beginning of vacation. More about that in the next few days.

Just heard that Billy Mays of Tampa died this morning. For those of you that don’t know, he was the person and the voice that was identified with Oxyclean, Orange Glow and a whole slew of commercials. When you heard his voice, you knew you could get something for $19.95 plus s&h.

We have lost several of our icons this week, Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson and now Billy Mays.  Michael Jackson and Billy Mays were both just 50 years old, too early and young to leave us. May these passings remind all of us to hug our loved ones a little more and even though they know that we love and cherish them, say the words “I love you” more often.
